Theme for April 2010
Dear Talent Share participating members and Fans,
I am happy to announce the following themes for April 2010:
• Design & present - your Jewellery
• Sceneries
Please participate with interest.
I wish to also inform you that we are coming out with the following exciting features from April 2010 for Talent Share Fans and participating members:
1. Talent Share Excellence Tag
A new system to Tag participating members with an exclusively designed Talent Share Excellence Tag, as and when they submit an excellent art work at Talent Share. These will be directly Tagged to their profile. There will be a special award at the end of the year for participants who receive maximum tags.
2. Talent Share Distinguished Promoter (Month / Year)
This is to supplement the “We Did It” campaign and meant for those Talent Share Fans who brings in participating members to Talent Share. Each month-end a special award will be given to those Fans who bring in maximum participating members.
In both the above categories, selection will be made taking only those who follow the simple guidelines for submission of work at Talent Share Fan page. That includes, Name, place, date of posting (and class, school details for students).
In addition, all participating members are kindly requested to update their details at the appropriate topics in the Discussion section (i.e. Participating members log, Birthday register etc).
Enjoy participating, introduce Talent Share to those friends who you feel will benefit from it.

It is festival time in Kerala and I had a picture of a caparisoned temple elephant on my wall at office. The other day, my colleague Souheila brought her little son Wassil to the office. As usual he came to my office and I never realized the picture grabbed his attention till he sent a special gift to me the next day. Here it is for all the Talent Share Fans.
Wassil is a junior class student of Lycee Theodore Mono French School Abu Dhabi.

Let's Try and Do it - Artificial flowers using grocery bags
Dear Talent Share Fans and participating members,
After a short gap, here I am presenting to you an interesting item to the Let’ Try and Do it section of Team 1 Talent share.
How to make artificial flowers using grocery bags?
Presented to us by Mrs. Jean Amin, Abu Dhabi, please find below the step-by-step method to make flowers with plastic grocery bags. The simple steps and method involved are detailed below and photographs are attached.
Materials required:
1. Thin wire (available in craft stores)
2. Plastic grocery bags (any colour)
3. White & Green floral tape (available in craft stores)
4. Thread
5. Pollen (available in craft stores)
6. Scissors
7. Wire cutter
Methods:
1. Measure the wire around four fingers, twist & cut
2. Make 3 or 5 such loops
3. Wrap the plastic around the wire firmly & secure it with a thread & cut off extra plastic
4. Make a smaller (3 fingers) loop with the wire for the leaf & wrap a green plastic around it
5. Take 3 pollens, fold in half & tie a wire around it tightly to form the stem
6. Cover 1/4th of the wire with white floral tape
7. Join the petals one by one to the stem & tie each petal with thread & finally secure all together
8. Wrap with green floral tape till about 1/4th of the wire. Attach the leaf & continue wrapping the green floral tape till the end
